Palm Springs man may become U.N. Ambassador

The Washington Examiner is reporting that a Palm Springs man is among the candidates the replace Nikki Haley as Ambassador to the United Nations.

Richard Grenell is currently U.S. Ambassador to Germany.

Grenell has previous U.N. experience, having served as a political appointee at the U.N during the second Bush Administration. 

He is also said to have a close relationship with national security adviser John Bolton, who previously held the U.N. job.
